..unforgivable..

Ever hate someone to the point of unforgiveness??

I know I have!! But I have learned that if you hold a grudge against someone this can block your blessings from God. Have u been praying to God and you feel like he's not answering? Have you been asking God for a blessing but it just seems like God won't bless you no matter how many times u ask? Well one or both of the following may be happening:

1) The answer to your question may be "No." or
2) You may be holding a grudge against someone not even knowing it and that could easily block ur blessings from God.

Matthew Chap 5:22-25 (NLT) reads; ...
I say if you are angry with someone, you are subject to judgement ! ..if you are standing before ... God and you suddenly remember that someone has something against u...go and be reconciled with that person. Come to terms quickly with your enemy before it is too late..."

I can admit i am guilty of holding a grudge towards someone and not until i read that scripture did i realize that i am not only hurting that person but i am hurting myself even more , if that person in your life is someone who has done something to harm a loved one or just hates you for no apparent reason or for reasons of his / her own , as hard as it may seem you should forgive them . do you want to reach the gates of heaven only to be turned away because you have hated someone in your heart? [ Matthew 6:15 (NLT) But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins. ] No one wants to go to Hell . So, Why not make things right while you are on Earth rather than wait until its too late?

Matthew 5 goes on to say in verse 44 ".. love your enemies, Pray for those who persecute you!"

The best thing you could do is pray for your enemies.

Then sit back and watch the results.

Regardless of how hard you feel it may be to pray for your enemies do it anyway and watch how God will bless you.

i believe we all have been victims of holding grudges. i recently stopped holing grudges and even reconciled with a few ppl. i mean at the end of the day your only hurting yourself walking around with hate in your heart. I'm at a place in my life where i love eveybody and i always pray for my enemies. it's not in my control to down talk anybody or judge if you will. pray & leave it to God.

Nice Post!
